Well, so far I am replaying cave story, trying to get all the possible items, except weapons, as I only like a couple. So far so good. Got all the items and now I just have to finish off the hell level. Again. Its amazing I finished last time. I can’t even get to Ballos in less than 10 minutes this time! Ahhh, the insanity.
Also, I am getting into more music oriented stuff. I’m thinking of learning the piano, or the guitar, and I’m in a lot of vocal stuff. I do love music so. Almost more than pizza! Actually, a lot more than pizza.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get back into Star for a while, but it might not be likely with all this school. I’ll still try tho.
I also have a Birthday tomarro! The 17th is my birthday. For all you Americans that means Citizenship day. I’ma gonna have a party the 20th. Thats a sunday. If any of my buddies that I know personally are reading this, you are invited to come. Its gonna be one of my only big parties.

New Dog!

Yeppers. Got a new dog today. She is pretty cool. She has an adventureous personality and is fun.

I also got into roblox again. Its still fun. I made a catapult (mispelt a couple things tho) and a cool bow (code worked but not the bow). Someone fixed them tho. I’m putting them in soon. Here is a link:

Going to School!

Yesh, I am now going to school. Its pretty easy right now, just simple geometry, spanish, english, ect. Homecoming is in like, 3 weeks. Nothing new except school really. Still same old same old, just a little different, in more ways than one. Expect a couple pictures from me now in then, and an update in my newest project, not dealing with -1D games, which I recently joined. Its current name is “star”. I will be developing it on my own, as a test of my own learnability. Hope to see a demo out by the end of the year, with a tad-bit of story. I may be doing all the thing myself, or I could borrow some graphics (and possibly music) from the team. Wish me luck.

Yep, that’s right. I owned Ballos. I finally beat the whole game. Cave Story is pwned, owned, destroyed. And yet, I’m still playing. I’m going to try to beat the game with every single obtainable item, other than the nemesis, because I like the blade. I’m currently at the sand zone, with the final puppy. Can’t wait to fight Torko +.

The 10 Reasons that Cave Story’s Hell Level Kicks my butt.

Ok, lets start off counting backwards. Sounds fun, no?
10: Butes. Flying angels things with swords. Whats more deadly than that?
9: Falling blocks 1-5 times your size, thats what. These things only fall in the second part of Sacred Grounds (the hell level), but still they hurt. They take away a whopping 10 HP, and with 55 HP max, thats alot. You can’t afford to take many hits with those.
8: Deathtraps. The whole first level is almost all deathtraps. You have to use your Booster 2.0 to get through it unhurt, or even alive! It takes a lot of practice and skill to get through these suckers.
7: Mesas. They are fat guys in tunics that through the smaller blocks at you. They don’t move, but in a crowded room they are definately a threat.
6: Archer Butes. The hell level is full of them, and none of them are friendly. Watch out for their arrows, they take out 8 HP. When in a group, these guys can really do some damage. it takes a lot of skill, luck, and strategy to get these guys.
5: Death wheels. They are basically eyes in a circle container. They move around a room. If you keep an eye of them, you’ll get past them easily, but its not that easy if you have butes swarming at you and a boss shooting a large lazer in the middle of the arena.
4: No save points. That just kinda sucks don’t it. You get to save right before the hell level, but not during it. It takes a huge amount of determination to master the game, and even more to master the hell level.
3: Heavy Press. The first boss. Basically a giant lazer stuck in the wall. All you have to do is shoot him right? Wrong. First, you have 2 death wheels circling the room. You also have 2 holes in the floor for the butes to swarm out of. Lastly, every minute or so, Heavy Press shoots a lazy right where you have to shoot him. Oh wait, about that, you can only shoot him directly in the middle. Yah, and after that, the main boss. Remember, no save points!
2: A combination of all of the above. It wouldn’t be so bad if you had to face them one by one, but its all mixed up together. Good thing too, else I wouldn’t love Cave Story as much.
1:The Hell level boss, Ballos. Oh, did I mention, Ballos is a master Mage, who’s powers are now in control, not him. Also, he has four forms, each harder then the rest. The first is pretty easy, just dodge and blast him. The second form, pretty much the same, except you can only shoot him in the eyes, and oh yah, he is a giant ball who jumps around and tries to land on you. If you get past that, he grows eight eyes that circle him, while he jumps around the room randomly. If you kill all his eyes, well, lets just say it gets crazy. “It all comes down to this. As soon as all the eyes die, GET CLOSE TO HIM. When the platforms appear around him, GET ON ONE IMMEDIATELY. The floor, walls, and ceiling all disappear shortly, to be replaced with spikes. The platforms circling him are the only remotely safe places. Just inside the platforms, there’s a new layer of eyes. Every other one is destructible, though tough, and the others are just walls. If you kill off the destructible eyes, they bounce around randomly, trying to hit you. The screen will also fill rather rapidly with bow-wielding Butes.

Attacking: This time, his armor is gone. His entire body is a big fat target, protected only by the eyes.”

Well, looks like I’m done ranting. If you play cave story, this might prepare you, but I would use the website above for a great walkthrough.

Roblox, Game Maker, and Comics.

First off, comics!
Well, I recently got into comics. Especially anime and manga. I think its awesome. I find them all at smack jeeves. If anyone wants to read my faves, just comment.

Also, onto game maker. Because of my interests in comics, and my being gone for so long, and because I don’t know what to do next, I’m kinda taking a brake on GM. I’ll probably add a couple of puzzle mechanisms and start on the story. That way I can start actual development of the game. I also am going to develop a Cave Story sequal (Following the best ending), for fun and enjoyment. I’m going to make it from scratch. My own skills only. I might just scratch the current game due to the fact I was just learning how to code for it. Eventually I’ll use the engine, but I’m not sure when.

And now to Cave Story. I know, didn’t say, but I love Cave Story. Pixel absolutely pwned making that game. I am almost done with the hard part. I beat the Five Bosses in One, but I still have to beat the Hell level. Jeese, its gonna be insane. I can hardly beat the first hallway and get to Curly Brace. Still trying!

Lastly, Roblox. I am currently making models, helping out in the forums, and learning some code. Thats about it.

Back from vacation!

Hey guys. I am back from vacation, my mom got sick so we headed back early. Nothing much is going on, but I am developing ideas for a MMO. This does not mean I will not continue my other game, it just means I had a lot of writing time on my trip. I am still playing all of my games, but mostly Cave Story.
